How soon will the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission be notified that I completed my        course work?

Certificates of Course Completion are mailed within 24 hours of completion, during normal business operations. Courses completed between 5:00pm Friday and 8:00am Monday will be mailed on Monday. Courses completed on a holiday will be processed and mailed on the next business day.

I'm running out of time and need to make sure that the Oklahoma Real Estate        Commission knows I completed my course on time.

As long as you have completed your course work before your deadline, the documents that we send to OREC will show that you have completed them on time.

My real estate license will expire at midnight tonight. What can I do?

You have until midnight to complete your course work. For questions about lapsed licenses, you will need to call The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission at 405-521-3387.

How do I find out which course I have already completed?

Contact the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission at 405-521-3387.

I'm not sure if I should take my continuing education online or by correspondence.

Call the school at 405-947-4448 or toll free 888-611-4448. We will be able to help you make the best decision for you.

I want to take the pre-license real estate course, but may not be able to make it to all of        the classes. Will I still be able to take the class?

Although we believe it's better to be in class, we understand that situations come up. Our pre-license real estate class is also approved as a correspondence course, so if you have to miss some class time, you will be able to study on your own the time you missed. Our instructors are also available during breaks to help you catch up.

I am having trouble logging into my course. What should I do?

Some of these difficulties are caused by the settings on your computers. The easiest way to solve them is to clear your 'cookies'. Follow these steps: Go to the 'Tools' button on your internet window and drop down to 'Internet Options'.

Then go to the middle of the Internet options box and click on 'Delete Cookies'.

It will take a minute for the cookies to delete. Once the operation is complete, close the box and log back into the course. If this does not work please contact customer support at 800-442-1149.

My Certificate won't print. What should I do?

First make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download it for free at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Once you download it, follow the installation instructions. You should now be able to open and print using Adobe Acrobat®.

I answered a security question incorrectly and now I am locked out of my course.How        do I unlock it?

Please contact customer support via CHAT IQ so that we can assist you with this issue.

What happens if I have technical difficulties or the system malfunctions during the        course?

If you experience any problem while taking the course, please call 1-800-442-1149 or email support@rogerdespainschool.com for assistance. We provide customer service 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

I am using a dial up connection and my courses is running slow or not playing at times.        What can I do?

Unfortunately, we cannot control the speed or reliability of dial up connections. Dial performance will depend on many factors, for more information please contact your internet service provider. For improved service please sign up for a high speed course.

Is it secure to send my credit card information over the internet?

Yes. Roger DeSpain uses a secure site with 128 bit SSL encryption since credit card transactions are very sensitive in nature.

What happens if I get disconnected from the internet?

A:If you are disconnected from the Internet, you will need to log back into your account. In this case, you will return to the beginning of the lesson you were working on.

Can I take the course from various locations and computers?

Our courses are set up for students to access their account from any computer that is compatible and has Internet access.

Can I take this course with the AOL browser?

Although you can take the course with any browser of your choosing please note that our technical support team is not able to provide assistance in the event of a problem while taking a course with the AOL browser.

It is possible to use another browser while signed on with AOL, which we highly suggest. To do this, log in to AOL and minimize the program. While still connected to the internet, click on the START button in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Click PROGRAMS, then click INTERNET EXPLORER, the program icon will have a blue "e".

Do I need to use a PC? What if I have a Macintosh?

If you have a MAC you can still sign on to take any of our classes. Many of our customers have taken their courses on a MAC and had no problems whatsoever. However, be aware that our technical support team may be unable to assist you should you encounter technical difficulties. If you have a MAC, you will need the latest version of internet explorer as well as the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

Do I need to have sound on my computer to take these classes?

While sound is another feature of our courses, it is not necessary for a customer to have sound in order to learn the course material or complete the course. All information played in audio is also displayed in text by the course player.

How do I get a username or password? What do I use it for? What should I do if I forget        it?

The username and password is selected by the student. It should be easily remembered; we suggest the student use their email address. Students will use the same username and password each time they log in to the virtual university page to access their course. Returning students are able to log in using the Returning Student section on the home page of the virtual university. If a student forgets his/her password, he/she can call 800-574-1605 to request this information.

What is your refund policy?

In-Class Course:

Full Refund, less $50.00 registration fee per course for cancellation prior to receiving course materials. No refund after the start of courses, 30 days after enrollment, or non-completion of courses.

Correspondence & On-line Courses:

All tuition and fees paid for the course are refundable when: (a) the course of instruction is discontinued by the school, preventing a student from completing the course; OR (b) the enrollment of student was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotion materials of the school, or representation made by an owner or employee of the school. All refunds will be completed within 30 days after the effective date of enrollment termination. Each Correspondence course is subject to a non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 dollars in addition to the cost of books for the course.

You have the right to cancel your registration up to three days from the date of purchase. Requests for cancellation must be made by contacting DeSpain School by phone or email. The request must be made prior to midnight of the 3rd calendar day from the date of purchase.

A student wishing to receive a refund on a package will be refunded if the request is made within three days upon receipt of the package.

If the course(s) includes physical materials, the student has the option to return the book(s) or keep them. The physical materials must be returned to the school at the student's expense. *Please include a note with the materials to contact DeSpain School to process the refund.* Books must be returned in new condition or reimbursement will not be processed. Once the physical materials are received, the refund will be processed minus a $25.00 non-refundable fee. All shipping charges are non refundable.

Students choosing to keep the physical materials will be charged the price of the materials minus the $25.00 non-refundable fee.

DeSpain School will not grant a refund for any of the following reasons: certificates issued, credits reported, or courses completed.

Transferring:

A fee of $35.00 will be assessed to the student for switching the delivery method, for example switching a course from On-Line to Correspondence, or Correspondence to In-Class.

Expiration:

You will have access to the On-Line & Correspondence course(s) for one calendar year from the date of purchase.
